Champions kick off the season 🙌 AMS - HUR 🏑 Tulp Hoofdklasse Men ‘25/’26 | Highlights
On September 13, 2025, reigning champions Amsterdam opened their Tulp Hoofdklasse Men’s season at the Wagener Stadium with a convincing 5-1 victory over city rivals Hurley. The match saw the return of club legend Mirco Pruyser, who came out of retirement to cover for injuries — and marked his comeback in style with a goal.
Amsterdam struck early through Boris Burkhardt, before Pruyser doubled the lead with a powerful forehand. In the final quarter David Huussen made it 3-0 after a stunning solo run, while Hjalmar Voskuil pulled one back for Hurley from a penalty corner. Late goals from Thije Harm and Burkhardt (his second, from a penalty corner) sealed the 5-1 win for the champions.
