Decided with 35 Seconds left… 🤯 | AMS - HUR 🏑 Tulp Hoofdklasse Women ‘25/’26
On September 14, 2025, Amsterdam kicked off the new Tulp Hoofdklasse Women’s season at the Wagener Stadium against city rivals Hurley. The match seemed headed for dropped points for new head coach Jesse Mahieu’s side, but with just 35 seconds left on the clock, Felice Albers crowned herself the matchwinner.
Amsterdam let a 2-0 and later a 3-1 lead slip away, but thanks to goals from Imke Verstraeten, Fay van der Elst (2x) and Albers, they still managed to secure the victory. For Hurley, Fiona Morgenstern, Margot van Hecking Colenbrander and Michelle van de Drift found the net. Final score: 4-3.
