The second part of the double weekend in the Tulp men's Hoofdklasse produced a total of no less than 35 goals, just like last Thursday. Fourteen goals could be admired at the Wagener Stadium on Sunday during the game between Amsterdam and Den Bosch. The home team eventually won 8-6. Rotterdam was also on a roll with seven goals against HDM (7-2). There was no scoring at Klein Zwitserland-Kampong. After three match days, Oranje-Rood is the new leader. After the 3-0 win over Laren, the Eindhoven team is the only team without losing points.

Amsterdam - Den Bosch 8-6
It was a feast for the crowd at the Wagener Stadium. The goals fell like the well-known ripe apples. There were no fewer than fourteen goals. At half-time, Den Bosch led 4-3, but after four quarters Amsterdam stepped off the field with an 8-6 victory. Incidentally, it is only the first time in history that this result goes into the books. However, it is not the most goal-rich match ever in the Tulp Hoofdklasse. On 15 March 1981, Klein Zwitserland won 15-0 against Breda. The recalled Mirco Pruyser sparked the goal-fest with his second goal of the season. Both teams kept each other in balance until 5-5, after which two hit penalty corners by Boris Burkhardt forced the decisive lead for Amsterdam. With the win, the Amsterdammers continued their strong home series. The national champion lost only one of its last 14 home matches. Den Bosch continues to struggle in top matches on foreign soil. Of the last eighteen away matches with teams such as Amsterdam, Kampong, Bloemendaal, Pinoké, Rotterdam and Oranje-Rood, the Brabanders won only two, against four draws and 12 defeats.

Bloemendaal - Schaerweijde 4-0
Promoted Schaerweijde are still waiting for their first points. At 't Kopje, coach Razwan Ahmed's team lost 4-0 to Bloemendaal. Teun Beins pushed twice from a penalty corner and brought his season total to four goals. Lucas Veen and Max Langer scored the other goals. In 15 consecutive games against Schaerweijde, Bloemendaal scored at least three goals each time. The victory is a boost after the defeat against Rotterdam earlier in the week. At home, Bloemendaal is now eight duels in a row unbeaten, while Schaerweijde is already 14 games without a win.

Klein Switzerland - Kampong 0-0
Klein Zwitserland has been a tough opponent for Kampong in recent history. For the fifth time in a row, the Utrechters could not beat the team from The Hague, which had to cede the lead to Oranje-Rood because of the point. Despite the draw, Kampong has been unbeaten in the Tulp Hoofdklasse for 11 matches. With two draws in this double weekend, coach Tim Oudenaller's team is now seventh. Klein Zwitserland occupies fourth place.

Laren - Oranje-Rood 0-3
Oranje-Rood is the new leader in the Tulp Hoofdklasse after the 3-0 win over Laren. The Eindhoven goals came from Borja Lacalle, Pol Cabre-Verdiell Badia and Straun Walker. Ageeth Boomgaardt's team is the only one still clear after three games and is now six games without defeat. Laren won only one of its last 13 league matches.

Pinoké - Hurley 5-0
The 30th edition of the Bos derby between Pinoké and Hurley was a triumph for the home team. It finished 5-0. Miles Bukkens scored the best goal of the weekend by tapping in with his back to goal. Moments later, Hurley goalkeeper Joren Romijn took 'revenge' by turning a penalty ball by Bukkens. The win marked Pinoké's eighth win in a row over Hurley, which has been waiting for a win in the Tulp Hoofdklasse for 13 games.

Rotterdam - HDM 7-2
Rotterdam had a delightful double weekend. Six points and 11 goals scored. After the 4-2 last Thursday against Bloemendaal, HDM was beaten 7-2 on Sunday. Timme van der Heijden and Thijs van Dam each scored two goals for Erik van Driel's team. With the victory, Rotterdam continued its strong home series. The team is already ten games without defeat on home soil. HDM, which won only two of its last seventeen games, suffered its third defeat of the season and is in penultimate place in the league table.
