Burkhardt top goalscorer of 2024 with 26 goals
Amsterdam striker Boris Burkhardt was the goal-scoring machine of the Tulp Hoofdklasse this calendar year. The 12-time Oranje international accounted for 26 league goals in 2024.
With that number, Burkhardt narrowly stayed ahead of his nearest rival Jip Janssen. The Kampong penalty shooter scored 24 goals in the Hoofdklasse this year. Janssen was last year's top scorer, scoring 34 goals for the Utrecht club.
Den Bosch defender Timo Boers is the number three on the 2024 top scorer list. The young Brabant-born player produced 23 goals, 19 of which came from a penalty corner.
Of course, Jeroen Hertzberger is also not missing from the top of the rankings. The 38-year-old striker of Rottterdam, all-time top scorer in the Hoofdklasse, scored 20 goals this year.
A special mention goes to Oranje captain Thierry Brinkman, who was the player with the most field goals in 2024. He scored on behalf of Bloemendaal and Den Bosch a total of thirteen times in that manner.
