Can Pinoké still compete for the playoffs?

In the Tulp Hoofdklasse Men, we get ready for round twenty of play. With Kampong-Pinoké and HDM-SCHC, there are spicy matches on the menu both at the top and bottom.
HDM - SCHC
Sunday, 2:45pm
- HDM lost five of its last six matches with SCHC (L L L W L). The only win in that series came on 11 March 2018: 3-2 in The Hague, helped by two goals from Jelmer Siersema.
- A total of 40 goals fell in HDM's last eight home matches with SCHC, an average of 5.71 goals per game.
- HDM ended a run of four defeats in a row and ten matches in a row without a win (D3 L7) during the previous round of play (2-2 win at Nijmegen).
- SCHC won three of its seven matches in 2025 (D1 L3). That's as many wins as in the 28 matches before that.
- HDM club top scorer Chris Taberima single-handedly scored almost as many goals this season (14) as SCHC's three club top scorers combined (15).
HURLEY - AMSTERDAM

- Amsterdam won its last 14 matches against Hurley since a 1-1 at Wagener Stadium on 14 March 2012.
- Amsterdam remained unbeaten against Hurley (W22 D2) for 24 matches in a row since a 0-1 defeat on 22 April 2001.
- Hurley's last home victory over Amsterdam dates from 3 December 2000 (3-1). After that, the team remained winless against its neighbour twelve times in a row (D1 L11).
- Hurley lost its last five matches in the Hoofdklasse and failed to score three times in that series.
- After Bloemendaal (73 goals), Amsterdam is the most productive team in this Hoofdklasse season (68 goals).
KAMPONG - PINOKÉ
Sunday, 2:45pm
- Kampong won the last 10 matches against Pinoké in the regular league. The last time the Utrechters dropped points was on 29 September 2019 (3-3 in Amstelveen).
- Kampong won 25 of its last 26 matches against Pinoké (D1) since a 0-2 home defeat on 6 November 2011.
- Kampong is unbeaten since five rounds of play: W W D W D. The reigning national champion last lost on 9 March: 2-1 at Rotterdam.
- Pinoké last won a top game on foreign soil in the regular league on 21 October 2023: 1-2 at Oranje-Rood. After that, the Dutchmen lost eight consecutive away games against a top team.
- Pinoké striker Miles Bukkens in one goal away from his fiftieth goal in the Hoofdklasse. He can become the ninth player in Pinoké's big league history with at least fifty goals.
ROTTERDAM - NIJMEGEN

- The only mutual match took place in the first league half: Dylan Lucieer opened the score on behalf of Rotterdam, then Jake Whetton and Niek Beijen scored for Nijmegen. In the last quarter, Pepijn van der Heijden equalised.
- Rotterdam lost points each time in its last three matches: 4-1 at Den Bosch, 3-3 at home against Amsterdam and 4-1 away at Pinoké.
- Rotterdam performs strongly in home games. The team won 12 of its last 15 home appearances in the Hoofdklasse and only lost points against HDM (1-1), Den Bosch (3-4) and Amsterdam (3-3).
- Striker Nijmegen lost its last eight matches and lost nine of its last 10 (W1, 4-1 against Hurley on 17 November 2024.
- Rotterdam attacker Jeroen Hertzberger is still five goals away from the 600th goal in his career (club and country). The breakdown of his current 595 goals is as follows: 447 for Rotterdam, 21 in foreign service and 127 for the Oranje.
ORANJE-ROOD - KLEIN ZWITSERLAND

- Oranje-Rood remained unbeaten in 10 of its 12 matches against Klein Zwitserland (W8 D2).
- On its own pitch, Oranje-Rood has never lost to Klein Zwitserland (W5 D1).
- Oranje-Rood is on a good home series. The Eindhoveners won their last five home matches since a 2-3 defeat against Bloemendaal on 27 October 2024.
- Klein Zwitserland lost four of its last five matches, winning only Nijmegen in between (4-0 on 6 April).
- Of all top teams in the Hoofdklasse, Oranje-Rood got the most goals against (50) this season.
BLOEMENDAAL - DEN BOSCH

- Bloemendaal remained unbeaten (W3 D4) in its last seven matches against Den Bosch since a 1-0 defeat at Oosterplas on 14 March 2021 (goal Koen Bijen).
- On their own pitch, Bloemendaal is already seventeen matches in a row unbeaten against Den Bosch (W14 D3) since a 1-4 win by the Brabanders on 25 March 2007.
- Den Bosch won only two of 32 away matches with Bloemendaal in the regular league (D3 L7). The only other win took shape on 8 April 2001 (2-3).
- Bloemendaal lost only one of its last 36 home matches in the Hoofdklasse (W29 D6). That was against SCHC, immediately after the winter break (3-4).
- Den Bosch suffered only two defeats this season, together with Amsterdam the least of all teams. Those defeats both came in an away game and against a fellow top team: 2-1 at Amsterdam and 3-1 at Kampong.
