Club icon Hertzberger new coach Rotterdam

Hertzberger's only coaching experience is as assistant of the French men's team, with whom he played at the European Championships last summer. The all-time Hoofdklasse top scorer quit as a player with Rotterdam after the 2024/2025 season, where he played 22 years in the main squad.

In the spring of 2025, the club decided not to extend 'Hertz''s contract, while he himself still wanted to postpone that choice. Last season, Hertzberger was still filling in for the team, which he will now be in charge of.
