It was a crazy afternoon in Rotterdam. The home team gave up a 4-1 lead and saw Pinoké win 5-4 after all. Leaders Oranje-Rood beat Den Bosch 2-1 in the Brabant derby on the twelfth and last round before the winter break. With four goals, Rik Sprengers was the big man at Kampong, which won 7-0 against Laren. Dutch champion Amsterdam beat Hurley 3-0 in the Bosderby and Bloemendaal beat HDM 2-0.

Rotterdam - Pinoké 4-5
A spectacular afternoon unfolded in Rotterdam at the Schouten Zekerheid Stadium. Jeroen Hertzberger graced his return to Rotterdam with the opening goal of the match. The all-time top scorer of the Tulp Hoofdklasse scored his 384th goal. Within the same minute, however, Pinoké scored the equaliser. After that, Rotterdam took control and built a 4-1 lead. At 3-1, Pinoké's Joep Troost pushed a penalty stroke wide of the goal. Troost was then the creator of the 4-2 and 4-4. Miles Bukkens, who tapped in the 4-3, pushed in the winning 4-5 from a penalty corner in the closing seconds. For Pinoké, it was the first away win after three games without a win on foreign soil. Rotterdam suffered its second defeat in a row and dropped to third place, while Pinoké is the new number two.

Den Bosch - Orange-Rood 1-2
Leaders Oranje-Rood continue to be a tease for Den Bosch. The Eindhoven formation won 2-1 at the Oosterplas, extending its unbeaten run against the Boschians to 12 matches. Borja Lacalle put the visitors ahead, but just before half-time, Koen Bijen made it 1-1 with a well-aimed tap. Scot Struan Walker was again important for Oranje-Rood. He pushed a penalty corner into the ropes, his sixteenth goal of the season. And so the three points for Oranje-Rood, which is already fifteen matches without defeat. For Den Bosch, a streak of eight matches without defeat came to an end. The team also missed out on equalling a club record. Den Bosch was nineteen matches without loss in home games. Due to the defeat, Den Bosch dropped to fifth place.

Kampong - Laren 7-0
Rik Sprengers was on target Sunday at the Klapperboom for Kampong. He scored four goals, bringing his total to eight. Last Thursday, Sprengers was also prolific twice against Rotterdam. The matches against Laren were actually as good as decided after the first quarter. Already after five minutes, Duco Telgenkamp opened the score, which was doubled three minutes later by Sander van de Putte. Two minutes before the end of the first quarter, Finn van Bijnen made it 3-0 before Sprengers' goal explosion made it 7-0. Kampong thus takes its second win in a row and is seventh, while Laren is already four matches without a win and has been waiting for three points away from home for 15 games.

Hurley - Amsterdam 0-3
Amsterdam finally recorded another victory after three matches. Last placed Hurley was the victim of the national champion's drive. Mustapha Cassiem opened the scoring after ten minutes. It was only in the fourth quarter that Amsterdam took the lead for good. Floris Middendorp doubled the lead, before Boris Burkhardt scored the final 3-0 from a penalty corner. It was his sixteenth goal of the season. Amsterdam goes into the winter break in sixth place. Hurley remains at the bottom of the table and has been waiting for a win in the Tulp Hoofdklasse for 22 games.

HDM - Bloemendaal 0-2
Bloemendaal returned home from The Hague with three points thanks to Arno van Dessel. The Belgian scored both goals in the 2-0 win against HDM. The opening goal fell only in the fourth quarter after an assist from Jasper Brinkman. The second fell in the closing seconds via a breakaway after which Van Dessel was able to slide the ball into the empty goal. HDM suffered its fourth defeat in a row and is now waiting five matches for a win. Bloemendaal is already five games unbeaten and is the new number four at the expense of Den Bosch.
