HDM's men have recorded their first win of the season in the Tulp Hoofdklasse. They beat promoted Laren 3-2 at home on Sunday. Laren remains on zero points after four rounds of play as do Hurley and Schaerweijde. Kampong suffered its first defeat. Pinoké was too strong 3-0 in Utrecht, taking over the lead from Oranje-Rood. The Rays are still unbeaten as are the foursome of Rotterdam, Oranje-Rood, Klein Zwitserland and Amsterdam.

HDM - Laren 3-2
The first confrontation since the 2023-2024 season ended like both matches that season in a win for HDM. Chris Taberima dragged in the winning goal from a penalty corner five minutes in. It gave HDM only its second win in its last nine home matches. Laren, which cleared a deficit twice, remained winless for the tenth time in a match on foreign soil. With zero points from four, Laren can be found in tenth place in the league table. HDM is one spot higher at position nine.

Kampong - Pinoké 0-3
At the Klapperboom, Pinoké got rid of fear-monger Kampong for a while. Two goals by Joep Troost and a goal by Miles Bukkens ended a series of 27 premier league games in which Pinoké failed to win against the Utrecht formation. For Kampong it meant the first defeat after eleven league games. Tim Oudenaller's team remains stuck on five points from four matches, good for seventh place. Pinoké, which is still unbeaten, took over the lead from Oranje-Rood on the basis of goal difference.

Den Bosch - Klein Zwitserland 2-2
Although Den Bosch won both matches last season, the teams have been pretty evenly matched in recent years. This was also evident on Sunday at the Oosterplas, where the home team shared the points with the visitors from The Hague. Twice, Klein Zwitserland took a lead, but both times it was nullified. The 2-2 fell ten minutes before time and was made by Pepijn Reyenga. Despite the draw, Den Bosch is already 14 home matches without defeat. But with four points from four matches, coach Nanco Jansonius' team can be found in eighth place. Klein Zwitserland is still unbeaten and is fifth with eight points.

Schaerweijde - Rotterdam 2-4
The fifteenth encounter between Schaerweijde and Rotterdam ended in favour of the visitors. Rotterdam won 4-2, making it the sixth win in its last seven premier league games. Tjep Hoedemakers scored twice, while Guus Jansen and Pepijn van der Heijden were also prolific. Van der Heijden missed a penalty stroke before half-time, but there were no consequences. With this third win of the season, Rotterdam rises to second place. Schaerweijde suffered its eighth defeat in a row and remains last.

Hurley - Bloemendaal 0-5
Five different goal scorers gave Bloemendaal the win over Hurley in the Amsterdam Forest. In doing so, coach Michel van den Heuvel's team recorded its eighth win in the last nine league matches. On the league table, Bloemendaal moved up two spots to position four. Hurley, which dropped to eleventh place, has been waiting fourteen matches for a win in the Tulp Hoofdklasse Men.
