Kampong sign brothers Juup and Peppe Veen from Schaerweijde
Freshly crowned European champion Kampong have strengthened their squad for next season with Juup and Peppe Veen. The brothers, both 20 years old, make the move from Schaerweijde, where they went through the entire youth academy and have been part of the first team since 2024.
Juup Veen is an attacking midfielder known for his dynamism, while Peppe Veen has developed into a dangerous striker at the premier league level in recent years. Peppe is also part of the selection of the Dutch Junior Men's team.
The brothers Rewatch their time at Schaerweijde with a good feeling. 'We had a great time there with a close and successful group,' says Juup. Peppe: 'At the same time, we are looking forward to making this step to Kampong. It's special to become part of such a top team.'
Within Kampong, their arrival is seen as an investment in the future. According to board member of top hockey Mark Jebbink, the brothers add energy and ambition to the selection. 'They know what it is to perform and have a lot of growth potential. We look forward to developing them further within our team.'
