Defeat Rotterdam, Den Bosch-Bloemendaal undecided

Rotterdam experienced a disappointing evening in Utrecht. The team suffered only their second defeat of the season and first away from home. As a result, the Rotterdammers missed out on the chance to lead the Tulp Hoofdklasse after eleven league games. The home team struck hard in the space of six minutes. Rik Sprengers opened the scoring from a penalty stroke and a minute later was prolific from a penalty corner. Terrance Pieters made it 3-0 early in the second quarter. Rotterdam managed to limit the damage somewhat before half-time through a goal by Timme van der Heijden. After half-time, the Rotterdammers even came back to 3-2 through a penalty corner by Pepijn van der Heijden, but Kampong did not let the visitors get any closer. With the win, the Utrechters ended their run of two defeats in a row. Moreover, the team remained unbeaten for the sixth time in a row against Rotterdam at the Klapperboom. Nothing changes in the standings. Rotterdam remains second. Kampong can be found at spot seven.

Den Bosch - Bloemendaal 1-1
At the Oosterplas, the matches between Den Bosch and Bloemendaal ended 1-1. The home team saw an impressive run of five wins come to an end, but remained unbeaten for the eighth time in a row.
