PINOKÉ - ORANGE-ROOD 1-6
Despite the big defeat, Pinoké is still third, but in the battle for a spot in the play-offs, the team is feeling the pressure of the competition. Kasper Vrolijk's team gained just one point from the last three matches.
The first encounter earlier this season ended in 2-2, after Oranje-Rood lost a 2-0 lead. This time, the still unbeaten frontrunner left no doubt who took the three points: 6-1.
Besides Walker, who scored three times, Jelle Galema, the opening goal after six minutes, Tijmen Reyenga and Henrik Mertgens were also prolific for Oranje-Rood. Miles Bukkens made it 2-1 with his fourteenth goal, but Pinoké got no further.
For Pinoké it meant the first home defeat since 24 November 2024. Oranje-Rood is now unbeaten for twenty league games in a row.
