Top match in Eindhoven with playoff ticket in mind

The Tulp Hoofdklasse Men is ready for the fifteenth round of play. With Kampong - Oranje-Rood there is a real top match on the menu, especially in view of a ticket for the play-offs. Check the most notable stats of this weekend's six matches here.
DEN BOSCH - KLEIN ZWITSERLAND
Saturday, 16:30
- The balance in the last five encounters is neatly balanced: two wins for Den Bosch and two for KZ (D1).
- At its own Oosterplas, Den Bosch has already been unable to win three matches in a row against KZ: 2-4, 1-1 and 2-3. Before that, the Brabanders had just gone 16 home matches in a row unbeaten against the Hagenaars (W12 D4).
- Den Bosch lost only one of its last 15 league matches (2-1 at Amsterdam on 17 November 2024). For the rest: ten wins and four draws.
- KZ came out of the winter break fine with two wins: 0-2 at Hurley and 3-2 against Bloemendaal.
- Den Bosch defender Timo Boers (photo below) is still three goals away from equalling his personal record in one season. He already made 15 this season. Last season, the Oranje international finished on eighteen goals in league play.
AMSTERDAM - SCHC

- Amsterdam remained without defeat in its last 20 matches against SCHC (W17 D3).
- Amsterdam won 15 of its last 16 matches against SCHC.
- SCHC always scored in its last eighteen away matches with Amsterdam (26 goals in total). The last time they failed to do so was on 7 December 1997 (2-0 defeat).
- SCHC started 2025 strongly. The team surprisingly won 3-4 at leader Bloemendaal and last weekend took a point against Den Bosch, the number two of the league table (1-1).
- Boris Burkhardt has been directly involved in 26 of Amsterdam's 50 goals this season. He scored 20 of them himself and also prepared six goals.
KAMPONG - ORANGE-ROOD

- Oranje-Rood won the last two matches with Kampong and won three of the last four underdogs (L1).
- Oranje-Rood won only two of the eight away duels with Kampong (D1 L5).
- This is an important matches in the battle for the fourth ticket to the playoffs. Number four Kampong (24 points) currently has two points more than Oranje-Rood, which is sixth.
- Kampong won its two most recent home games (8-0 Nijmegen and 2-0 HDM), keeping the zero each time.
- Oranje-Rood last won an away game on 6 October 2024 (1-3 at Nijmegen) and then remained winless outside Eindhoven four times in a row (D L D L).
- Kampong's club top scorer Jip Janssen (15 goals) scored in the last six rounds of play before the winter break, but has yet to score a goal in 2025.
BLOEMENDAAL - HDM

- Bloemendaal won the last 18 matches against HDM since a scoreless draw in The Hague on 21 September 1997.
- Bloemendaal won 11 home matches in a row against HDM, scoring 54 goals.
- Bloemendaal lost two of its three matches after the winter break and won the catch-up game with Rotterdam (3-2) in between.
- In 2013, Bloemendaal last came out of the winter break with two defeats in its first three matches. That year, the team won first from Den Bosch, only to lose to Oranje Zwart (2-1) and Pinoké (0-1).
- HDM has been winless for six matches (D3 L3) and won only one of its last 11 league games (D3 L7). That win came in the home match against Nijmegen on 26 October 2024 (3-1).
PINOKÉ - NIJMEGEN

- Pinoké won the only mutual match between the two teams so far. It was 1-5 in Nijmegen at the end of September, including three goals from Miles Bukkens.
- Pinoké is on a weak run: the team of outgoing coach Jesse Mahieu lost six of its last seven games and in between only won at Hurley (0-7).
- Nijmegen lost its last three matches, conceding fourteen goals and scoring only one itself.
- Nijmegen has scored 54 goals in fourteen matches. Only Hurley defends less well (56 goals against).
- Miles Bukkens (20 goals) and Boris Aardenburg (seven) together account for 82 percent of all Pinoké goals (33) this season.
HURLEY - ROTTERDAM

- Rotterdam won eight of its last nine league matches with Hurley (D1) since a 5-2 defeat in Amstelveen on 27 September 2015.
- Hurley lost 10 of its last 12 matches in the Hoofdklasse (W1 D1), but kept four points from its last three matches (W L D).
- Hurley is the least scoring team in the Hoofdklasse together with bottom-placed Nijmegen (16 goals in 14 matches).
- Rotterdam lost only one of its last nine matches and suffered only two defeats in its last 21 matches (W13 D6).
- Rotterdam attacker Jeroen Hertzberger has scored at least 15 goals in the Hoofdklasse for the ninth consecutive season. The striker has now scored 15 goals or more in 14 of his 20 premier league seasons.
