What the stats say

  • Rotterdam remained without defeat in 14 of 15 league matches against Schaerweijde (W13 D1 L1).
     
  • On 19 November 2023, Rotterdam suffered its only defeat against Schaerweijde: at the home Hazelaarweg it was 0-1 through a goal by Patrick Coates.
     
  • The most goal-rich edition of Rotterdam-Schaerweijde was that of 28 April 2013, when it finished 7-6 at the Hazelaarweg. That result is all the more remarkable as Rotterdam had taken a 6-0 (!) lead after 47 minutes of play, thanks in part to a hat-trick by Jeroen Hertzberger.

What the stats say

  • Oranje-Rood won four of the last six matches against Amsterdam in the Hoofdklasse (G1 V1). Before that, the Eindhoven players remained winless against the team from the capital eight times in a row.
     
  • The only dissonant in that series was the 7-1 defeat at Wagener Stadium at the beginning of last season. Amsterdam attacker Boris Burkhardt scored four goals that afternoon. Within 29 minutes, Oranje-Rood were trailing 5-0 then.
     
  • Amsterdam remained unbeaten in seven of its nine home matches with Oranje-Rood (W4 D3).
