Slow start in Tilburg before spectacle 😮🐝 TIL – DEN 🏑 Tulp Hoofdklasse Women ‘25/’26 | Highlights
On September 14, 2025, reigning champions Den Bosch began their season with a convincing 4-0 win over Brabant rivals Tilburg. After a quiet opening, Frédérique Matla broke the deadlock in the second quarter with a well-taken penalty corner.
In the second half, Joosje Burg doubled the lead after Danique van der Veerdonk’s corner strike was disallowed. Babs Reijnen added a third before Burg sealed the 4-0 victory with her second of the game after a brilliant solo run. Remarkably, Den Bosch remain unbeaten on opening day in the Tulp Hoofdklasse Women since 1994.
