Demi Hilterman first to reach fifty goals for Bloemendaal
Sun 28 Sep 12:45
Women 1 - 2

Bloemendaal's historic 1-2 win at Den Bosch has gained extra lustre for Demi Hilterman. The Mussen's penalty corner specialist reached a milestone and wrote club history.
Hilterman put Bloemendaal ahead 0-1 against Den Bosch in the fifteenth minute with a racy penalty corner. That was the fiftieth goal in the Tulp Hoofdklasse for the 27-year-old defender, all made in service to Bloemendaal.
Since her debut goal in October 2019 against Laren (4-4), she has scored 43 times from a penalty corner, five times from a penalty stroke and twice from open play. HGC and Kampong are her favourite opponents with eight goals each.
Club record
With this anniversary, Hilterman set a club record. She is the first player in Bloemendaal history to reach the limit of fifty goals in the Premier League.
Last Thursday, in the home game with Hurley (1-1), Hilterman already crowned herself the new Hoofdklasse all-time top scorer for The Mussen with her 49th goal, a title she took over from Marcia de Goede. The former striker accounted for 48 goals on behalf of Bloemendaal between 1993 and 1998.
Hilterman's milestone coincides with the dream start of promoted Bloemendaal, which collected eight points from four games. With the stunt victory in Den Bosch, the team also made league history: never before had a promotion team won against the reigning national champion.
