Amsterdam also acquires Roos Alkemade (18) from HDM
Amsterdam has attracted another top talent from HDM. A week and a half after news of the arrival of top talent Yara Akkerman, the top club announces the transfer of Roos Alkemade (18).
Alkemade has been part of HDM's main squad since last season, where she plays both up front and in midfield. She will make the switch to Amsterdam after the summer, where she will thus meet her current teammate Yara Akkerman.
The physically strong Alkemade won the European Championship in Lille with the Dutch Under-18s last summer. Meanwhile, she is part of the training group of the Dutch Junior Team, which is preparing for the European Championships in Valencia this summer.
'I am grateful for the opportunities I have been given at HDM. Amsterdam feels like a good next step. I want to continue to develop myself and play at the highest level,' Alkemade responded in a press release from her new club.
