The Amsterdam women will be reinforced by two youth players next season. Midfielder Merle Blaffert and goalkeeper Fere van der Maarel will then make the permanent switch from Girls U18 to the women's team.

Blaffert, Amsterdam's youth talent, has already received quite a few playing minutes in the main squad. The midfielder, who also plays for Oranje U18, has also been training with coach Teun de Nooijer's squad for quite some time. Blaffert scored her first goal in the Tulp Hoofdklasse on 17 October 2024 when she scored in the home match against SCHC (2-2).

Van der Maarel started her hockey career at HGC and Leiden, before coming to Amsterdam to play in the Girls U18. The goalkeeper has since also gained experience at Oranje, where she played in the U15 and U16 national training teams.
