Marijn Veen extends contract at Amsterdam until mid-2028
Striker Marijn Veen has extended her contract at Amsterdam. The 27-year-old Dutch international player has extended her stay at the club for three more seasons, until mid-2028.
Veen already agreed a one-season contract extension with the club in May 2024, but has now extended her commitment for another three seasons.
Veen's new extension is the latest in a long line of new contract extensions. Earlier, Amsterdam committed Felice Albers, Freeke Moes, Michelle Fillet, Fiona Morgenstern, Fay van der Elst, Alessia Norbiato and Noa Muller for longer.
Moreover, the current number four in the league attracted a new coach for next season with Jesse Mahieu, replacing the departing Teun de Nooijer.
Veen suffered a long-term foot injury last season, but made her return to the Hoofdklasse in spring 2024. She also rejoined the Dutch national team, with which she won both the FIH Pro League and the Olympics last summer.
