Amsterdam have decided the high-profile game in the Tulip Hoofdklasse Ladies in their favour. Den Bosch were beaten 2-1 at the Oosterplas on Saturday. At the Amsterdam Bos, Hurley was 3-1 too strong for HGC.

Den Bosch - Amsterdam 1-2
At Oosterplas, a draw seemed in the making for a long time, but just before time Trijntje Beljaars crowned herself matchwinner. The attacker, who came over from SCHC, took advantage of a moment of inattention in the defence of Den Bosch and gave her team the complete victory. For Amsterdam, it was the first victory over Den Bosch after five consecutive games without a win. It also ended the home team's impressive run: just one defeat in the last 64 league games and 32 home matches in a row without a loss. Earlier, 16-year-old Reese D'Ariano had put Amsterdam ahead in the 125th official clash between the two clubs. The league's youngest player tapped in after a backhand from Freeke Moes, which goalkeeper Josine Koning failed to control. Den Bosch came alongside after the break thanks to a touching backhand by Teuntje de Wit, who shot the ball between Anne Veenendaal's legs. Yet Amsterdam drew the longest straw in the closing stages: 2-1.

Hurley - HGC 3-1
Hurley also had a successful Saturday. After seven premier league games without victory, the team finally managed to take three points again. They won 3-1 against HGC, although the visitors took the lead after four minutes through newcomer Mikki Roolaart, who converted a penalty corner. After half-time, the game tilted. Floor van den Dungen brought Hurley alongside, also from a penalty corner, after which Teuntje Horn and Margot van Hecking Colenbrander (penalty corner) decided the game definitively. With that, Hurley is now unbeaten against HGC for six games in a row.
