Amsterdam wins at the last minute, point for Schaerweijde
Thanks to a goal by Dayaan Cassiem in the closing seconds, Amsterdam left Den Bosch with a 2-1 victory. Leaders Oranje-Rood brushed aside lowly Laren (5-2) and Kampong suffered another defeat. This time, Klein Zwitserland was too strong 3-1. Pinoké won the Bosderby against Hurley (8-1) and Schaerweijde took a point against Bloemendaal.
DEN BOSCH - AMSTERDAM 1-2
With the result of the first encounter (8-6) in mind, the crowd at Oosterplas sat up and took notice. Yet the spectators had to wait a long time for goals. Eleven minutes before time, Den Bosch took the lead. The home team's first penalty corner was immediately cashed in by Timo Boers, which broke the game open. Amsterdam responded quickly through Mustapha Cassiem, who equalised five minutes later. A point tie seemed in the making, until Amsterdam got another corner in the closing seconds. The national champion struck after all. Dayaan Cassiem tapped in the rebound after a penalty corner from close range and gave his team the 1-2. It marked Amsterdam's first win in Den Bosch since September 2017. Thanks to the third league win in a row, Amsterdam swapped positions with Den Bosch in the league table and is now fourth.
ORANGE-RED - LAREN 5-2
Oranje-Rood remains proudly in the lead after the 5-2 victory over Laren. With the victory, the Eindhoven team set a club record by winning for the sixth time in a row. After the first quarter, Oranje-Rood already led 3-0, creating a decisive margin. For the home team, Tijmen Reyenga scored twice from a penalty corner. On its own soil, Oranje-Rood is already fourteen matches without defeat. In total, the team has been unbeaten for seventeen games. Laren, in eleventh place, has not won sixteen premier league games. In the last three matches, the team conceded eighteen goals. With 63 goals against, Laren also has the most passed defence.
KAMPONG - KLEIN ZWITSERLAND 1-3
Kampong is having a poor start to 2026. After last week's defeat against Amsterdam (2-0), the team went down 3-1 against Klein Zwitserland on Sunday at their own Klapperboom. The returning Aki Käppeler was important with two goals for the team from The Hague, which climbed to seventh place at the expense of Kampong, the number eight. The best goal of the day came from Kampong's Sander de Wijn. He outplayed Käppeler and then lashed out devastatingly. Despite several chances, the home team failed to score after that. For Klein Zwitserland it was the first away win after six games without a win.
HURLEY - PINOKÉ 1-8
The Bos derby at Hurley produced 21 goals for Pinoké in the three previous matches. The Stinging Pioneers made a lot of them again on Sunday. Eight against their Amsterdam Forest neighbours. At half-time it was 4-0 for the number two of the Tulp Hoofdklasse and eventually the score ran up to 1-8. Joep Troost opened the goal-fest after only four minutes and later also made it 0-7. With that goal, he reached the milestone of fifty goals in the Tulp Hoofdklasse. Moreover, he took the lead in the top scorers' standings with seventeen goals. Boris Aardenburg also scored twice. Hurley saved the honour through Noam Sheridan, but remains winless after 24 games and is still last with one point.
SCHAERWEIJDE - BLOEMENDAAL 1-1
Although Schaerweijde have yet to win a home game this season, the 1-1 draw at De Kuil was celebrated as a victory. The visitors, who were missing Jorrit Croon, Lucas Veen and Zach Wallace among others, took the lead just before half-time through a penalty corner by Teun Beins (0-1). After half-time, the deficit was erased. Micke Bosse scored the equaliser. Thanks to the draw, Schaerweijde collected six points in the last five matches. For Bloemendaal, with Michel van den Heuvel back on the bench as coach, it meant another point loss away from home. For the sixth time in the last 11 away games, the team remained winless.
