Forest derby undecided, Gorzelany signs 20,000th goal
On the tenth round of matches in the Tulp Hoofdklasse Women, the game between Pinoké and Amsterdam ended 1-1. Amsterdam player Agustina Gorzelany scored the 20,000th goal in the Tulp Hoofdklasse Women on Sunday, since it started in the 1981-1982 season. SCHC struck out against Rotterdam. It became 7-0.
PINOKÉ - AMSTERDAM 1-1
The 48th edition of the Bosderby between Pinoké and Amsterdam ended undecided. As a result, Amsterdam is now six matches unbeaten in its neighbourly clash with the Steekneuzen. Pinoké took the lead in the second quarter through a dry blast by Marloes Timmermans. It was her first goal for Pinoké after coming over from Tilburg. For a long time, the 1-0 score remained on the board and Pinoké seemed to be heading for its first win over Amsterdam since 10 October 2021. It was Agustina Gorzelany who prevented a victory for the Steekneuzen. The Argentine dragged the 1-1 against the ropes with her eighth goal of the season. It was also the 20,000th goal in the Tulp Hoofdklasse Women since it started in the 1981-1982 season. The draw prevented Pinoké from taking over third place in the league table from Amsterdam, which is now eight matches without defeat. The difference between the two teams remains one point.
TILBURG - HDM 2-0
Thanks to its second win in a row and third victory in the last five league games, Tilburg has climbed to fifth place in the league table. It is five points behind number four Pinoké. Emma Puvrez and Carmen Victoria scored for the Tilburgians, who recorded their second win over HDM in five mutual editions. HDM suffered its sixth defeat of the season after a three-match unbeaten run. The Hague team also dropped from eighth to ninth place partly due to HGC's win.
ORANGE-ROOD - HGC 1-2
Oranje-Rood failed to follow up on last week's win over Hurley (1-2). They lost 2-1 to HGC in front of their own crowd. This makes Oranje-Rood, like Huizen, the only team in the Tulp Hoofdklasse still without a win at home. Indeed, the Eindhoven team lost all five home matches. Sophie van Grimbergen scored her first goal of the season for Oranje-Rood. Julie Sytsema and Amy Costello were prolific for HGC, which needs three more goals to become the fifth club in history to reach the 1,500 major league goal mark. The Wassenaar team is now four league games unbeaten and moved up from ninth to eighth place. Oranje-Rood remains in 11th place.
SCHC - ROTTERDAM 7-0
For the eighth time in a row, SCHC recorded a victory over Rotterdam. In Bilthoven, the final score of 7-0 was on the board after four quarters. Jip Dicke scored three goals, her second hat-trick in the Tulp Hoofdklasse and first in SCHC's shirt. Maud van den Heuvel and Trijntje Beljaars scored twice each. With a total of forty goals, SCHC is the most productive team in the Tulp Hoofdklasse Women after ten rounds. With the victory, SCHC ended a run of four matches in which only one win was recorded. Rotterdam suffered their sixth defeat in a row. However, coach Jordy van der Waart's team remains tenth.
