Den Bosch ladies have recovered well after last weekend's 4-0 home defeat against SCHC. Coach Marieke Dijkstra's team won 3-1 over Pinoké at the Amsterdam Forest on Saturday. This moves Den Bosch up to third place, at the expense of Amsterdam, which is still in action on Sunday. Pinoké remains in fifth place.

PINOKÉ - DEN BOSCH 1-3
The 50th meeting between them gave Den Bosch its 34th win in the last 35 clashes with Pinoké. After a scoreless first quarter, Pien Sanders opened the score, which was doubled just after half-time by Joosje Burg. Lana Kalse then brought the tension back into the game with her eleventh goal, which was finally settled in the fourth quarter by a converted penalty stroke by Frédérique Matla, her fifteenth of the season. For Matla, it was already her 31st goal in the Tulp Hoofdklasse against Pinoké, making the Steekneuzen her favourite opponent.

For Pinoké, the defeat marked the end of a series of six matches in which the team remained unbeaten in front of their home crowd. Moreover, it was only the second defeat for the team of outgoing coach Daan Sabel in the last 11 matches. Den Bosch recorded its fourth win in the last five league games.
