Does Thierry Brinkman strike again against Amsterdam?

The eleventh round of play in the Tulp Hoofdklasse Men has two top matches on the menu: Amsterdam-Den Bosch and Pinoké-Bloemendaal. Read the statistical previews here.
AMSTERDAM - DEN BOSCH
- Amsterdam could not win ten matches in a row against Den Bosch: L L L L D L L D D.
- Amsterdam's last win over Den Bosch dates from 2 September 2018: at the Wagener Stadium, it was 3-0 through goals by Justin Reid-Ross (two) and Boris Burkhardt.
- Amsterdam is the most prolific team in the Hoofdklasse this season with 40 goals. Bloemendaal follows behind with 38 goals.
- Together with Bloemendaal, Den Bosch is the only one still unbeaten this season (W7 G3). Never before in big league history did Den Bosch manage to remain unbeaten in the first ten games from the league start.
- Amsterdam is Thierry Brinkman's favourite opponent in the Hoofdklasse. The experienced striker scored 15 of his 122 goals at the highest level against the Amsterdammers. He did so on behalf of his former club Bloemendaal.
PINOKÉ - BLOEMENDAAL
- Pinoké won only two of its last 22 matches with Bloemendaal in the regular league (D6 L14).
- On its own field, Pinoké lost 10 of the last 12 matches with Bloemendaal in the regular league (W1 D1).
- Pinoké is now fifth after a weak league start, three points off number four Kampong (seventeen points).
- Bloemendaal has been unbeaten in the regular league for 23 games in a row (W20 G3).
- Pinoké was the last team to manage to beat The Mussen on 10 November 2023: 2-1 in Amstelveen through goals by Joep Troost and Sebastien Dockier. Jorrit Croon scored against.
ORANGE-RED - HDM
- Orange-Red has never lost to HDM in the Hoofdklasse (D W W W W).
- Oranje-Rood has been looking for a win since four matches: D L L D.
- In the last seven rounds of play, HDM won only from Nijmegen (3-1 on 26 October), played one draw and suffered five defeats.
- HDM's next win will be the club's bicentenary in premier league history. After 578 matches, the balance is 199 wins, 111 draws and 268 defeats.
SCHC - KAMPONG
- SCHC lost its last seven matches with Kampong in the Hoofdklasse since a 1-1 draw in Bilthoven on 18 October 2015.
- SCHC has gone eighteen matches in a row in league play without a win over Kampong (D2 L16). The last win over the Utrechters dates from 6 March 2008: it was 4-3 in Bilthoven then.
- The last four meetings between SCHC and Kampong yielded a total of 34 goals, an unprecedented average of 8.5 goals per match.
- SCHC lost its last three home duels with Kampong, conceding 19 goals: 0-7, 2-7 and 2-5.
KLEIN ZWITSERLAND - ROTTERDAM
- Rotterdam is already 12 games in a row without a loss against Klein Zwitserland (W8 D4).
- The last Rotterdam defeat dates from 4 March 2009, when KZ triumphed 4-3 on their own pitch.
- KZ is unbeaten in the Hoofdklasse (W W D) since four matches. The last defeat was the 1-2 at home against Pinoké on 13 October.
- Jeroen Hertzberger was directly involved in 15 of his team's goals this season. He scored nine of them himself and prepared six goals.
NIJMEGEN - HURLEY
- Nijmegen and Hurley play each other for the first time at the highest level.
- Striker Nijmegen are the only team still without a win this season (D2 L8).
- Nijmegen, meanwhile, has been looking for a win in the Hoofdklasse for 32 games in a row (D7 L25). It last managed to do so on 2 May 1976: 1-0 against Tilburg.
- Hurley lost its last eight matches in the Hoofdklasse since a 1-1 against KZ on the second round of play (19 September). Hurley's last - and only - win this season was the 2-0 at SCHC on the first round of play.
