On the twelfth and final round of matches before the winter break, Den Bosch's men won 4-2 against Pinoké. Because of the victory and Amsterdam's defeat in Eindhoven against Oranje-Rood (3-2), the Bosch formation is the new number two in the Tulp Hoofdklasse. Leaders Bloemendaal took a beating against Nijmegen (8-0).

PINOKÉ - DEN BOSCH 2-4

Pinoké ended the first half of the season in a minor way. The 4-2 defeat against Den Bosch was the sixth defeat in twelve league games for coach Jesse Mahieu's team. Pinoké goes into the winter break as number seven. There was personal success for Miles Bukkens. His second goal of the match marked his fiftieth official goal for Pinoké. With the win, Den Bosch ended a three-match winless streak. Two of the four Bosch goals came from Timo Boers, his thirteenth and fourteenth goal of the season. Koen Bijen and Thierry Brinkman, who returned from injury, also scored for Den Bosch, who will resume the league in March as number two of the Tulp Hoofdklasse.

ORANGE-RED - AMSTERDAM 3-2

After an exciting match in Eindhoven, Oranje-Rood stepped off the pitch victorious. Coach Omar Schlingemann's team beat Amsterdam 3-2 to take revenge for the humiliating 7-1 defeat earlier this season at the Wagener Stadium. The winning goal was scored four minutes from time by Jelle Galema. The victory lifted Oranje-Rood to fifth place at the expense of Rotterdam, who is a point behind but has played one match less. The gap to number four Kampong shrank to two points. Amsterdam suffered its second defeat of the season and dropped to third place in favour of Den Bosch.

KLEIN ZWITSERLAND - KAMPONG 2-2

The 76th edition of the match between Klein Zwitserland and Kampong had no winner. It was Kampong's first points loss after three wins in a row and Klein Zwitserland have been waiting for a win for three league matches after this afternoon's draw. In The Hague, Kampong took the lead twice, but coach Tim Oudenaller's team could not hold on to it. For Kampong, Jip Janssen scored both goals. Klein Zwitserland is the penalty corner specialist's favourite opponent in the Tulp Hoofdklasse. Meanwhile, Janssen has already scored eighteen against the team from The Hague. Kampong and Klein Zwitserland go into the winter break as number four and eight respectively.

NIJMEGEN - BLOEMENDAAL 0-8

Unbeaten leader Bloemendaal showed no mercy to Nijmegen. Coach Michel van den Heuvel's team won 8-0 against the number eleven of the Tulp Hoofdklasse. Lucas Veen, Nathan Ephraums and Casper van der Veen each scored two goals. The other goals came from Jasper Brinkman and Yannick van der Drift. Bloemendaal extended its unbeaten league run to 24 matches with the victory. Nijmegen ends the first half of the season in eleventh place with five points from twelve matches.
