Den Bosch defeats Amsterdam, also wins for SCHC and Kampong
Den Bosch ladies started the 2026 calendar year with a 2-1 win in the top match against Amsterdam. Leaders SCHC also triumphed on the thirteenth round of the Tulp Hoofdklasse. In Bilthoven, Pinoké was beaten 3-0. Kampong was 2-0 too strong for straggler Tilburg. Hurley won by a large margin against HGc (4-0) and Bloemendaal came up 1-1 against Rotterdam at home.
Amsterdam - Den Bosch 1-2
With a 2-1 win, Den Bosch took revenge for the defeat in the first match against Amsterdam. The first two quarters offered little spectacle, but nine minutes after half-time the national champion broke the game open. After a backhand by Elke Brinkman-Boers, Frédérique Matla cunningly tipped in behind goalkeeper Anne Veenendaal. Shortly afterwards, Lieve Wijckmans took advantage of sloppy Amsterdam defence to double the margin. Amsterdam responded quickly. A penalty corner by Imke Verstraeten caromed via Josine Koning against linestop Rosa Fernig, after which Verstraeten took the awarded penalty stroke herself. In the final quarter, the equaliser failed to materialise, allowing Den Bosch to secure its third win in a row and climb to third place. For Amsterdam, the loss meant the end of a run of five unbeaten matches. Moreover, the team dropped to fourth place.
Bloemendaal - Rotterdam 1-1
The match at 't Kopje had no winner. Demi Hilterman gave Bloemendaal the lead, but after half-time Bobbi Dijk brought Rotterdam past from the penalty spot. Hilterman then had the chance to give her team the lead again, but her penalty stroke was turned away by American goalkeeper Kelsey Bing. Rotterdam suffered a setback early in the match when Noor Omrani dropped out, possibly with a muscle injury. It was the third draw in a row for the Rotterdammers, although they are now five matches unbeaten. Bloemendaal, on the other hand, have been waiting for a win for six games.
HGC - Hurley 0-4
Just like in the first encounter, Hurley stepped off the pitch with the full haul. Fleur Loomans made her mark with two goals. Taheera Augousti and Romée Corver were also effective for the team from the Amsterdamse Bos. For Hurley, it marked only the second win in the last six league matches, but against HGC it remained unbeaten for the seventh time in a row. For the home team, the quest for a win has now lasted six games. Only three points were collected in that series.
SCHC - Pinoké 3-0
Leaders SCHC had few problems with Pinoké in a repeat of last season's NK semi-finals: 3-0. Jip Dicke underlined her status as top scorer by shooting in the opening goal after only three minutes, her thirteenth of the season. Before half-time, Mette Winter doubled the lead. After the break, Yibbi Jansen determined the final score from the penalty spot. It was the fifth win in the last six matches for SCHC. Pinoké saw a five-match unbeaten run come to an end.
Tilburg - Kampong 0-2
Rémi Talma's debut as coach of Tilburg yielded no points. Kampong won 2-0, although both goals came after half-time. After Bente van der Veldt hit the post, Luna Fokke was alert in the rebound. In the closing stages, Imme van Es decided the match definitively. Kampong thus recorded its fifth win in a row and is already six games unbeaten. For Tilburg it meant the sixth defeat in a row.
