German reinforcement for men Klein Zwitserland
Klein Zwitserland has strengthened with two German players: Tom Schneider (27) from Harvestehuder and Linus Michler (26) from Crefelder HTC.
Schneider is a versatile player who can perform in both defence and midfield. Michler was brought in as a midfield reinforcement.
Last weekend, Klein Zwitserland finished the season in the Tulp Hoofdklasse in eighth place. With their arrival, the team aims for further growth in the new season.
KZ will also say goodbye to Albert Béltran and Nick van Trigt. The 31-year-old Spaniard Béltran joined The Hague club after the Tokyo Olympics, having previously played two seasons for Rotterdam. He leaves for Australia.
Van Trigt spent the past four seasons with Klein Zwitserland. Before that, he played for Rotterdam, where he made his debut in the Tulp Hoofdklasse in the 2017-2018 season.
It was announced earlier that Marco Miltkau will also no longer play for KZ next season. He will transfer to Bloemendaal. Furthermore, goalkeeper Lars Zijderveld and Lucas Middendorp (to Amsterdam) are leaving the club.
On the other hand, six players extended their contracts: Lars Daniëls, Pepin Jones, Aki Käppeler, Mathew Swan, Adrian Lehmann-Richter, Chad Futcher and goalkeeper Koene Schaper.
