The first half of the competition in the Tulp Hoofdklasse Women is over. Leaders Den Bosch recorded their eleventh win in eleven games on Sunday by beating Tilburg 4-1. Amsterdam kept its unbeaten status by eliminating bottom-placed Huizen 6-0 and Kampong came out on top against HGC.

DEN BOSCH - TILBURG 4-1

With its eleventh win in eleven league games, Den Bosch finished the first half of the competition with a perfect score. In the Brabant derby, Tilburg was beaten 4-1. Joosje Burg's opening goal after three minutes marked the fiftieth goal in the Tulp Hoofdklasse Women for Den Bosch's striker. Hoofdklasse top scorer Frédérique Matla also found the net twice. Her second goal, the 12th in total, was her first field goal of the season. Den Bosch sharpened its own record run of unbeaten matches to 52. There was good news for Kira Lubbers. The 17-year-old made her premier league debut in the Den Bosch shirt. Tilburg dropped from fifth to sixth place due to the defeat in favour of Kampong.

AMSTERDAM - HUIZEN 6-0

Just like the previous four clashes, Amsterdam also won its fifth game in the Tulp Hoofdklasse Women against Huizen. After four quarters, the final score of 6-0 was on the board at Wagener Stadium. Fiona Morgenstern and Agustina Gorzelany scored two goals each for coach Teun de Nooijer's team. The Argentine penalty corner specialist missed the chance for a hat-trick. She pushed a penalty ball over the Huizen goal when leading 2-0. The win means Amsterdam is now nine premier league games without defeat. Huizen remains the only team without a win this season. The bottom-club also failed to score in the last six league games.

HGC - KAMPONG 1-5

Thanks to Bente van der Veldt's first hat-trick in the Tulp Hoofdklasse, Kampong won by clear figures over HGC. In Wassenaar, the final score of 1-5 was on the board after four quarters. It ensured that HGC is already 12 matches without a win against Kampong, which thus finally took the full spoils again after three league matches without a win. For HGC, it ended a run in which it remained without defeat for four league games in a row. Cécile Pieper's goal of honour means HGC is two goals away from its 1,500th goal in the Tulp Hoofdklasse. Only Amsterdam, Den Bosch, Rotterdam and Kampong passed this goal barrier in history.

ROTTERDAM - ORANJE-ROOD 1-0

A goal by Joy Haarman in the 13th minute was enough for Rotterdam to win. The win ended the series in which Jordy van der Waart's team lost six league games in a row. It was also a historic win. For the first time in the Tulp Hoofdklasse Women, Rotterdam won a match against Oranje-Rood. The Eindhoven formation suffered its second defeat in a row, winning only one of its last 11 matches.
