Double digits for Kampong trio Fokke, Benninga and Van der Veldt
After eighteen rounds of play in the Tulp Hoofdklasse Women, the injured Frédérique Matla still leads the top scorer list. In the large group of chasers, Jip Dicke (SCHC) and three Kampong players did good business.
Dicke scored both goals for SCHC in the top match against Amsterdam (2-0) and now stands at 15 goals. Behind her, Luna Fokke occupies fifth place on the top scorers list with 12 goals. The Kampong midfielder hit one during the monster win against Tilburg (7-0) and also saw teammates Sosha Benninga (three goals) and Bente van der Veldt (two, pictured) excel.
Kampong is the first team this season with three players in double figures. Apart from Fokke, Benninga and Van der Veldt have also reached the ten-goal mark. Partly due to the productivity of this trio, Kampong is the highest-scoring team in the Tulp Hoofdklasse in this calendar year (22 goals in five games).
