HGC and Kampong sign young talent

The HGC women’s team announced the arrival of Laurien Bruijning (photo). The 18-year-old midfielder spent the past year studying in Canada, where she played for the UBC Thunderbirds. Prior to that, Bruijning played for SCHC’s youth teams.

Kampong have strengthened their squad with the signing of Sarah Koppe. The midfielder joins from Den Bosch, where she made her league debut for the Women’s 1st team last season. With the Netherlands U18s, Koppe won the European title in Lille in July 2025.
