Hurley acquires Nora Bruinsma from HDM
Hurley has contracted 25-year-old Nora Bruinsma for next season. The defensive midfielder comes over from HDM and brings international experience to the Amsterdam Forest.
Bruinsma, raised in Spain, received her hockey education at Real Club de Polo de Barcelona where she played in the first team since 2015. During her youth, she went through Spain's regional and national youth teams. Four years ago, she made the move to the Netherlands to further develop at HDM.
'We are extremely happy with Nora's arrival,' said Hanna Kernkamp, board member of top hockey at Hurley. 'She is known as a versatile player who can perform in both defence and midfield. At Hurley, attention will also be paid to the further development of her penalty corner.'
The new recruit is looking forward to her time at the Amstelveen club: 'I am excited about this new adventure and am looking forward to playing for a club with a stable foundation and a young team,' Bruinsma said.
