Jip Dicke boldly interferes in battle for top scorer's title
Jip Dicke has definitely entered the battle for the top scorer title after her two goals for SCHC in the top match against Pinoké (5-2 win). The 22-year-old striker of the Bilthoven-based team is already on 12 goals.
With that number, Dicke, who came over from HDM last summer, is currently the third most prolific player of this premier league season, behind leader Frédérique Matla (Den Bosch) and Agustina Gorzelany (Amsterdam). Matla scored once last Sunday (2-2 at Hurley) and Gorzelany scored twice (away against HDM, 2-3).
Dicke is currently SCHC's club top scorer with her 12 goals. She has already scored nine field goals this season, more than any other player in the Hoofdklasse. Slowly but surely, a new personal record is also coming into sight for Dicke. Last season, in her final year with HDM, she managed to score fifteen league goals.
