Timo Boers second Den Bosch player with top scorer title

Timo Boers' converted penalty stroke in the home game with Amsterdam meant his 28th goal in this league. Because his direct competitor Boris Burkhardt (Amsterdam) failed to score and Pinoké attacker Miles Bukkens stuck to one goal against Bloemendaal, the 2024-2025 top scorer's title goes to the 21-year-old defender from Den Bosch.

Boers ended up one goal short of matching Piet-Hein Geeris' club record (29 goals in 1997-1998). However, he did become Den Bosch's second top scorer ever in Hoofdklasse history after Geeris. Noting that Geeris had to share his top scorer title with Bram Lomans and Richard de Snaijer at the time.

Incidentally, Bukkens did set a new club record at Pinoké with his 27 goals. He scored one more this season than South African Justin Reid-Ross did in 2011-2012.

Of all players in the Tulp Hoofdklasse, Bloemendaal striker Nathan Ephraums scored the most field goals this season (seventeen). The Australian is closely followed by Belgian striker Thibeau Stockbroekx, who scored 16 times from field goals on behalf of Oranje-Rood.

Jeroen Hertzberger finished his all-time season with 25 goals. The all-time top scorer of the Hoofdklasse scored his 383rd and final goal in the top competition against Klein Zwitserland, a record that will most likely never be broken again.
