Klein Zwitserland have found the successor to retired goalkeeper Koene Schaper. The Hague club reinforces itself with Olivier Paalman, who comes over from Amsterdam.

The 19-year-old youth international was second goalkeeper behind England international Oliver Payne last season. In The Hague, Paalman has to make up for the departure of Schaper, who retired from top hockey with Klein Zwitserland after 13 years.

Paalman played a decisive role in Amsterdam's national championship last season, where he was successful in the shoot-outs series won against Kampong. In the same year, he also captured the national indoor title with the Amsterdammers. Last winter, Paalman crowned Amsterdam the European indoor champion. On the field, the season ended less successfully. Amsterdam recently lost the battle for the national title to Rotterdam.
