Goalkeeper Romijn swaps Amsterdam for Hurley
National champion Joren Romijn will play for Hurley next season. It was already announced in winter that the goalkeeper would have to leave Amsterdam.
Romijn won the national title in his last game for Amsterdam a month ago and now returns to familiar territory: as a 13-year-old, the goalie already landed at Hurley, where he had previously played in the main squad.
'Hurley wants to build a team that gets better every year and grow into a stable Hoofdklasse team and I am looking forward to being part of that,' Romijn said in the club's press release.
Laurens Nievelstein is also welcomed by Hurley. The striker comes over from promotion league side Victoria, where he was shared club top scorer with 12 goals.
