No one scored as many goals as Joep Troost in 2025
Joep Troost may call himself the most prolific player of 2025. The Pinoké striker finished the calendar year in the Tulp Hoofdklasse with 28 goals.
With that number, Troost remained narrowly ahead of competitors Boris Burkhardt (of Amsterdam) and Timo Boers (Den Bosch). They each reached 26 league goals this calendar year.
Troost proved to be a constant factor in the Steekneuzen's attacking line throughout the calendar year. The Pinoké striker scored in every possible way. Seventeen of his goals came from penalty corners, eight times he scored from field goals and three times he used a penalty stroke.
Remarkably, Troost divided his production exactly equally between home and away games (both 14). He especially ran hot after half-time: no fewer than 20 of his 28 goals were scored in the second half, with 11 hits in the third quarter and nine in the final quarter.
Klein Zwitserland became his favourite victim this year: six times the ball was in the Hague net thanks to Troost. In total, he scored against 11 different teams, underlining his status as the league's most complete and versatile finisher.
