Pinoké Pinoké signs Belgian defender Labouchere for next season
Pinoké's men have signed Hugo Labouchere for the coming seasons. The Belgian defender comes over from Orée, the club where he played his entire youth and senior days.
Labouchere is an 11-time international of Belgium. The defender stands out for his length, versatility and dangerous drag-and-drop corner. At Pinoké, he should provide the defence with extra quality.
Technical manager Balder Bomans is happy with the Belgian's arrival. 'Hugo is a versatile defender with a great pass and overview from behind. With that, he has exactly what we were looking for to further strengthen our selection.'
For Labouchere, it will be his first adventure in the Dutch Hoofdklasse. 'I am honoured and excited to join Pinoké in the coming years,' he says. 'I feel ready to take the next step in my career and learn and embrace a new style of hockey.'
