Pinoké surprise with arrival of two German internationals
Pinoké has strengthened their squad for next season with German internationals Thies Prinz (Rot-Weiss Köln) and Teo Hinrichs (Real Club de Polo). In addition, Luca Wolff has extended his contract.
The 26-year-old Prinz (26) is an attacking midfielder who has already made 90 appearances for the German national team. He is hugely looking forward to his move to Pinoké. 'As a child I already wanted to play in the Tulp Hoofdklasse. In addition, the fact that I can play together with Teo at club level was an important reason for me to come to Amstelveen.'
The 25-year-old Hinrichs, a former Mannheimer HC player, is playing this season in Barcelona with Real Club de Polo and has played 79 international matches for Germany. 'I wanted to play in the best league in the world,' he says. 'I like a good team spirit and a family-oriented culture. Pinoké is the perfect combination of both.'
Top hockey commissioner Balder Bomans is enthusiastic about the pair's arrival and calls the Germans a valuable addition. 'They bring with them a wealth of national and international experience and fit Pinoké perfectly in terms of personality'.
Pinoké further announces the contract extension of Luca Wolff. The thirteen-time German international will stay with the club longer after several successful seasons.
