SCHC whips Pinoké, win Bloemendaal
SCHC's ladies have made a big impact on the second matchday of the Tulp Hoofdklasse. They won 6-0 on a visit to Pinoké. The second win of the season gave the team from Bilthoven the lead in the league. Promoted Bloemendaal recorded their first win of the season by winning in and against Rotterdam with the smallest difference: 1-0. Kampong was 5-0 too strong for Tilburg and HDM won from Oranje-Rood. It became 3-0.
Pinoké - SCHC 0-6
SCHC did not waste any time and were already leading 0-4 at half-time. Without star players Yibbi Jansen and Famke Richardson, Robbert van de Peppel's team took a quick lead. After thirty seconds, Jip Dicke scored her fiftieth goal in de Tulp Hoofdklasse. This was followed by goals by Maud van den Heuvel, Mette Winter (after a steal by Xan de Waard) and Lisa Post from a penalty corner. After half-time, Van den Heuvel and Jip Dicke extended the score further with their second goal of the match. With the victory, SCHC is now unbeaten for 16 league matches in a row. Outside Bilthoven, the team is even seventeen games without defeat. For Pinoké, this meant the first home defeat after nine matches. That previous home defeat? Coincidentally also against SCHC (1-3, on 26 September 2024).
Rotterdam - Bloemendaal 0-1
For now, promoted Bloemendaal is enjoying a fine return to the highest level. The 2-2 draw against Pinoké was followed by a 1-0 victory in and against Rotterdam on Sunday. The only goal fell in the 22nd minute, when Demi Hilterman converted a penalty corner. In the closing stages, Rotterdam brought goalkeeper Kelsey Bing to the side for an extra field player. The offensive yielded a penalty corner, but it was well defended by Bloemendaal. For coach Andre Morees' team, this marked the first away win in 16 matches. Rotterdam is now thirteen games without a win and did not manage to score in the last six home games.
Kampong - Tilburg 5-0
Kampong has made an excellent start to the season. After the 3-0 victory over Oranje-Rood last week, Tilburg was now also convincingly beaten: 5-0. That brings the tally after two games to eight goals for and not a single goal against. Bente van der Veldt accounted for two goals. In addition, Luna Fokke, Sophie van Grimbergen and Noor van den Nieuwenhof scored. For Van Grimbergen, it meant her first goal in the Kampong shirt. For Tilburg, it was already the seventh defeat in the last nine premier league games. As a result, the team is at the bottom of the Tulp Hoofdklasse. Kampong, on the other hand, remains impressively strong on their own pitch. Only one of the last twenty home matches at the Klapperboom was lost.
HDM - Oranje-Rood 3-0
HDM continued its good home series against Oranje-Rood and recorded its fourth win in a row over the Eindhoven formation. In doing so, the team from The Hague ended a seven-game losing streak in front of their home crowd. Sabine van den Eijnden scored twice. Delany van den Broek put the final score on the board. For the second game in a row, Oranje-Rood failed to score.
