Sjoerd Wolters is the new head coach of the Pinoké women's side for next season. He succeeds Daan Sabel, who will leave the Hoofdklasse club from Amstelveen after this season.

Wolters is no stranger to the club. He is currently assistant coach at Pinoké's men's side and active within the youth academy, where he is involved in the development of top youth as a member of the technical committee. Previously, he worked as trainer and coordinator at Bloemendaal and was head coach of Victoria Women's 1. In addition, Wolters is national coach of Oranje U16.

According to chairman Seerp Gratama, Wolters is a good fit for the club and is ready for this step. 'He has developed strongly within Pinoké in recent years and knows the club inside out. We are confident he can further grow the women's team.'

Within the player group, his arrival has also been positively received. Captain Kiki Rozemeier stressed that the team wants to build on the achievements of recent years. Wolters himself speaks of a special moment: 'Head coach in the Hoofdklasse has always been my ambition. That I now get this opportunity at a club where I feel at home makes it extra special.'
