The stats of the weekend: firsts for SCHC, men's Kampong vulnerable

TULP HOOFDKLASSE WOMEN

2 - SCHC midfielder Yibbi Jansen scored two field goals in one game in the top match against Den Bosch for the first time in her career.

2 - Jansen scored a hat-trick each time in the last two match rounds: three goals against Hurley (7-1) and three against Den Bosch (0-4).

2 - Rotterdam attacker Amber van den Dijssel scored two goals in one big league game against HDM for the first time.

3 - Jansen is the first player ever to score three hat-tricks in an away match against Den Bosch: she did so twice in the Hoofdklasse and once in the battle for the Gold Cup.

3 - Den Bosch suffered its third home defeat of the season against SCHC, the highest number of losses on home turf since the 1996-1997 season (then three defeats in 11 matches).

3 - SCHC only conceded three goals in eight away games this season, the fewest of any club.

4 - HGC won 2-4 at Oranje-Rood and scored four goals in an away game for the second time since the turn of the century. In the past 26 years, they only managed that against Pinoké (0-4 on 12 March 2000).

4 - After Amsterdam (in 1992), SCHC is only the second team ever to manage to score four goals in an away match against Den Bosch.

4 - Den Bosch suffered its fourth defeat of the season, as many as in the previous four complete seasons combined (1 - 2 - 0 - 1).

6 - Kampong kept its goal clean against Bloemendaal for the sixth time in a row this season. That is already one more time than during the whole of last season.

9 - SCHC kept its goal clean against Den Bosch for the ninth time in this season, out of a total of 16 games. The team only did that better once: in 2016-2017 (ten clean sheets after sixteen matches).

12 - Kampong beat Bloemendaal 4-0 to record its twelfth win of the season, already the highest number of victories since the 2000-2001 season (then 14 wins in 22 matches).

16 - SCHC striker Jip Dicke scored her goal against Den Bosch and now has sixteen goals this season, a new personal record for her.

22 - Yibbi Jansen has now scored 22 goals in official matches with Den Bosch. She scored more often only against Hurley (27 goals).

34 - Den Bosch lost another home game by four goals difference for the first time in 34 years. On 15 March 1992, Amsterdam was too strong 0-4 at the Oosterplas.

TULP HOOFDKLASSE MEN

1 - Tjep Hoedemakers, recovered from a knee injury, played his first game of 2026 against Hurley on Sunday. The Rotterdam striker scored immediately, his eighth goal of the season.

5 - Young Den Bosch defender Timo Boers scored three goals against Pinoké (6-3 win). That was already his fifth hat-trick ever in the Hoofdklasse. Only Piet Hein Geeris made more for Den Bosch (seven).

6 - Kampong suffered its sixth consecutive home defeat against Bloemendaal in the regular league (3-5), the second-longest series of losses on home turf against The Mussen.

7 - Kampong has already lost seven games this season. The last time the number of defeats was this high was in season 2010-2011, when the Utrechters lost as many as 10 of their 22 matches.

9 - For the second time in history, nine goals were scored in matches between Den Bosch and Pinoké. After the 2-7 in Den Bosch on 19 September 2021, it became 6-3 in favour of the Bosch players last Saturday.

11 - Rotterdam recorded its 11th win of this season against Hurley, after 16 match rounds. That is already as many as during the entire previous season.

14 - Bloemendaal extended its run of unbeaten matches against rival Kampong: the Mussen remained without a loss against Kampong for the fourteenth time in a row thanks to the 5-3 win in Utrecht.

25 - There is no shortage of goals in the matches between Kampong and Bloemendaal. In the past three mutual encounters no fewer than 25 goals were scored, by the following results: 4-4, 5-4 and 3-5.

33 - Rotterdam scored 33 (!) goals in its last four league duels with Hurley: 8-3, 0-10, 9-0 and Sunday 0-6.

67 - Rotterdam is still the most productive team after 16 match rounds with 67 goals. The team is on course for a new club record: that currently stands at 82 goals and dates from season 2016-2017.

109 - Timo Boers stands at 109 official goals with Den Bosch after his hat-trick against Pinoké. With that, he has passed national coach Jeroen Delmee (108 goals in Bossche service). Only Matthijs Brouwer (180 goals) and Austin Smith (128) scored more often for Den Bosch.

147- Kampong defender Jip Janssen returned to the pitch after 147 days. The Oranje international had not played a game since 26 October last year due to a knee injury.
