The stats of the weekend: Jansen and Beljaars on record hunt
Trijntje Beljaars equalled a personal record, SCHC were rarely this good after 15 match rounds and Rotterdam are approaching a club record. Here are the numbers from the weekend.
TULP HOOFDKLASSE WOMEN
1 - Yibbi Jansen scored three goals against Hurley (7-1) and notched her first hat-trick of the season.
2 - For the second time in premier league history, SCHC won thirteen of its first fifteen games in a season. That previously only succeeded in season 2022-2023.
6 - Amsterdam scored six goals in a league game against Oranje-Rood for the third time in a row: 6-1, 1-6 and 6-0. It was also the third home game in a row in which the team scored six goals against the Eindhoven side (6-0, 6-1, 6-0).
6 - SCHC won all six matches in which sisters Pien and Jip Dicke each scored at least once.
10 - HDM player Belén van den Broek scored her 21st goal in the Hoofdklasse against Tilburg: no fewer than ten of them came about from the penalty spot.
10 - Amsterdam attacker Trijntje Beljaars scored her tenth goal of this league against Oranje-Rood (6-0), equalling her personal record from two seasons ago (then as a SCHC player).
14 - Den Bosch made no mistakes on a visit to Bloemendaal and won an away match against The Mussen for the fourteenth time in a row .
15 - SCHC striker Jip Dicke scored her fifteenth goal this season against Hurley, already as many as in each of her past two seasons.
23 - Yibbi Jansen stepped up her production against Hurley - her favourite opponent in the Hoofdklasse - to 23 goals.
60 - Just like last season, SCHC stands at 60 goals after 15 match rounds, equalling a club record.
147 - Sisters Pien and Jip Dicke accounted for three of the seven SCHC goals against Hurley. Both attackers have now scored 147 goals in the Hoofdklasse: Pien scored 84 times and Jip is on 63 hits.
TULP HOOFDKLASSE MEN
4 - Hurley remained scoreless for the fourth time in a row in an away match against Bloemendaal (1-0 loss). That did not happen to the Forest Owls before.
6 - Kampong striker Duco Telgenkamp scored his sixth major league goal against Pinoké. Together with HDM, this makes the 'Steekneuzen' his favourite opponent at the highest level.
8 - Striker Florent van Aubel (photo below) not only saved a point for Pinoké (3-3) with two late goals against Kampong, but also equalled a personal record from 2022-2023 with his seventh and eighth goal of this league.
10 - Rotterdam attacker Guus Jansen boosted his season production against Schaerweijde (7-1) to ten goals with two goals, an improvement on his personal record from last season (nine goals).
10 - Rotterdam defender Pepijn van der Heijden is the Hoofdklasse's home top scorer this season. Nobody scored as many goals in home games as he did: ten.
10- Den Bosch attacker Thierry Brinkman has already equalled his production from all of last season(ten goals).
12- Orange-Rood attacker Struan Walker is the Hoofdklasse's out-and-out scorer this season. No fewer than 14 of his 18 goals came from outside Eindhoven.
15 - Joaquín Menini was the fifteenth Rotterdam player to score this season. That gives the Rotterdammers the most unique goal scorers in the squad.
18 - Oranje-Rood lost a 3-0 lead at Amsterdam, but remained unbeaten in the Hoofdklasse for the eighteenth time in a row, a tightening of the club record.
25 - Hurley has been waiting for a win for 25 games in the Hoofdklasse (G3 V22). The team last won on 23 November 2024: 2-3 at SCHC.
45 - Rotterdam has already scored 45 goals in eight home games this season, the most of any team. The club record in terms of home goals stands at 47 and dates from the 2011-2012 season.
