Struan Walker is scoring remarkably often in away matches this season, Rotterdam's women are rock solid defensively and Frédérique Matla and Joosje Burg are invaluable for Den Bosch. Here are the weekend's figures.

TULP HOOFDKLASSE WOMEN

1 - Kampong suffered only one defeat this season after exactly half of all matches. The Utrechters had last managed that in season 2014-2015.

2 - Rotterdam kept Amsterdam (0-0) from scoring on their own pitch this season after Den Bosch (0-0). The Rotterdammers never managed that before in their rich premier league history.

2 - Kampong only lost two points in its first six away games of the season (1-1 at Pinoké). Never before in Hoofdklasse history have the Utrechters performed so strongly in their first six matches away from home.

3 - Amsterdam played a draw for the third time in a row, the longest series of draws since 2022. Then the team played a draw four times in a row.

3 - Rotterdam kept zero for the third home game in a row, equalling club records from 1998-1999 and 2001.

4 - Rotterdam has been performing rock-solid defensively in recent weeks, courtesy of goalkeeper Kelsey Bing. The team kept its goal clean in four of the last six matches.

7 - Lana Kalse has already scored seven goals for Pinoké this season. That means a new personal record for the striker of the Stekneuzen.

7 - SCHC attacker Pien Dicke already gave her seventh assist of this season against Bloemendaal (3-2 win). After eleven match rounds, only Felice Albers (Amsterdam) prepared more goals.

16 - Den Bosch won all its sixteen home games in premier league history in which Frédérique Matla and Joosje Burg each scored.

17 - Rotterdam picked up (at least) a point in a home game against Amsterdam for the first time in seventeen years.

65 - Frédérique Matla (eight goals) and Joosje Burg (seven) together accounted for 15 of Den Bosch's 23 goals. That amounts to 65 per cent of the total Bossche production.

300 - SCHC's 3-2 win over Bloemendaal was the 300th win in the Hoofdklasse for the team from Bilthoven. It needed 490 games to reach that number.

TULP HOOFDKLASSE MEN

4 - Kampong midfielder Rik Sprengers scored a hat-trick in the Hoofdklasse for the first time in his career: he even accounted for four of the seven Utrecht goals against Laren.

7 - After twelve match rounds, seven teams are still in the race for the play-offs. The difference between leader Oranje-Rood (28 points) and number seven Kampong (20 points) is only eight points.

7 - Sprengers is the seventh Kampong player to score at least four times in a home game. The previous player to do so was Bjorn Kellerman on 20 September 2020 (four goals against Almere, 11-0).

10 - Kampong attacker Duco Telgenkamp scored his tenth goal of the season against Laren (7-0). In doing so, he has already surpassed his production from the complete previous season (nine goals).

12 - Oranje-Rood is still the only team unbeaten after twelve match rounds (W8 G4).

12 - Struan Walker scored 12 of his 16 goals for Oranje-Rood in away games, by far the most of any player. The last player with twelve away goals after twelve match rounds was Mink van der Weerden on behalf of Oranje-Rood in season 2013-2014.

Sprengers2

13 - The number of hat-tricks (3+ goals) in this season already stands at 13 after Sprengers' four-goal haul. That is only three less than the number of hat-tricks from the complete previous season.

14 - At Rotterdam, Jeroen Hertzberger and Dylan Lucieer scored for the first time this season. This increased the team's unique goal-scoring total to 14, the most of any team.

16 - Pinoké turned a 4-1 deficit against Rotterdam into a 4-5 win, helped by four goals in the last sixteen minutes of the match.

19 - Den Bosch lost out against leader Oranje-Rood (1-2) and suffered its first defeat after nineteen home games. The team failed to match a club record from 1998-2000 (twenty consecutive home games without a loss).

28 - Joep Troost scored two goals on behalf of Pinoké against Rotterdam. With 28 goals, the striker can call himself the most prolific player of the 2025 calendar year.

375 - After the first twelve match rounds of the first half of the competition, the men's goal counter stands at 375, which comes down to an average of 5.21 goals per match. That is the highest average after twelve match rounds since season 2012-2013 (5.74).

384 - Jeroen Hertzberger thus temporarily returned to top hockey due to the injury burden at Rotterdam. The Hoofdklasse's all-time top scorer put the team ahead after just seven minutes, his 384th goal in the league.
