Timo Boers equals personal record from last season
Pinoké striker Miles Bukkens only got the lead on the top scorers' list last weekend thanks to his 23rd goal of the season. Not far behind him, Timo Boers equalled a personal record.
Bukkens saw his Amsterdam rival - Boris Burkhardt - stay dry for the first time this calendar year (1-3 at Klein Zwitserland). Bukkens is not only approaching his personal goal of 25 goals in this season, but is also close to a jubilee. He needs one more goal for his 50th goal in the Hoofdklasse.
In the sub-top, Jip Janssen (Kampong), Jeroen Hertzberger (Rotterdam) and Timo Boers (Den Bosch) all scored. For Boers (pictured above), his eighteenth goal of this league - he scored the winning goal in the away game with HDM (1-2) - meant a personal highlight: he equalled his goalscoring record from last season.
Including the cup tournament, the young defender already stands at 31 goals for Den Bosch in this season, the most of any player at the highest level this season.
