Top scorers: Boers in the lead after fourth hat-trick
Den Bosch defender Timo Boers is the new top scorer in the Tulp Hoofdklasse Men after twenty match rounds, following his second hat-trick in a row and his fourth of this season. In the women's league, Frédérique Matla equalled rival Yibbi Jansen.
TULP HOOFDKLASSE WOMEN
SCHC midfielder Yibbi Jansen has been joined at the head of the Tulp Hoofdklasse Women's top scorer list by Frédérique Matla. The Den Bosch striker is in blood form and lifted her league total to 20 with two goals in the away match against HDM (0-2).
It is the third season in a row that Matla has scored at least 20 times in the Hoofdklasse, following her 27 and 22 goals in the past two seasons. Matla scored in 11 of her last 12 league games for Den Bosch and produced 16 goals in that series. She failed to get on the scoresheet only in the home game with SCHC (0-4 loss).

TULP HOOFDKLASSE MEN
Among the men, Den Bosch defender Timo Boers keeps rising on the top scorer list. His three goals in the home match against Hurley (5-1 win) gave him the provisional lead with 27 goals, one more than Struan Walker of Oranje-Rood. Boers, who has already scored four hat-tricks this season, is on course to become the Hoofdklasse's top scorer for the second season in a row: last season he scored 28 goals.
Joep Troost was of great value for Pinoké last weekend. His three goals helped the Steekneuzen to an important 2-4 victory over Klein Zwitserland. The striker is now third on the top scorer list with 22 goals. It is the first time he has crossed the 20-goal mark in one season.
