During the final round of play of the 2024 calendar year in women's football, two absolute top games are on the menu: Den Bosch-Amsterdam and Kampong-SCHC. Read the previews here.

KAMPONG - SCHC

  • SCHC is 32 games in a row without defeat against Kampong (W24 D8).

  • Kampong recorded its last (home) win against SCHC on 21 October 2007 (1-0 goal by Floor Joosten). This was followed by fifteen home matches without a win over the team from Bilthoven (D5 L10).

  • Kampong is the most scoring team in the Hoofdklasse after The Big Three (Den Bosch, Amsterdam and SCHC). Coach Kai de Jager's formation scored thirty goals, including eleven in the last two matches.

  • Kampong won its last two games (1-5 at HGC and 0-6 at Rotterdam) and is unbeaten since four games (D D W W ).

  • SCHC is the most scoring team in the Hoofdklasse this season with 46 goals from 12 games.

  • SCHC won its last three matches, not allowing a single goal: 7-0 Rotterdam, 0-1 HDM and 5-0 Oranje-Rood.

DEN BOSCH - AMSTERDAM

  • Den Bosch remained unbeaten in its last four premier league games with Amsterdam: 2-2, 2-1, 1-1 and 1-2.

  • The last time Amsterdam won against Den Bosch in the regular league was on 18 September 2022 (2-0 through goals by Fiona Morgenstern and Michelle Fillet). That was also the last time Den Bosch lost a game at all in the Hoofdklasse.

  • The mutual balance between the two teams in regular league games at the Oosterplas is nicely balanced: thirteen wins for each (eight draws).

  • Den Bosch did not lose a single point in the first 12 games of the season. Den Bosch's best league start dates back to the 2012-2013 season, when the first seventeen games were all converted into wins.

  • Amsterdam is unbeaten in the Hoofdklasse for ten games in a row, but coach Teun de Nooijer's team did lose eight points in that series (W6 D4).

  • Amsterdam attacker Michelle Fillet scored four goals in her last five league games against Den Bosch.

HUIZEN - HGC

  • The only mutual match between the two teams early this season ended in a big win for HGC: 5-0, with goals by Amy Costello (2), Valentina Raposo, Bente Kolmus and Filiz Tuzgöl.
  • Huizen lost its last seven matches and failed to score in those. Anne Verbeek was Huizen's last player to score on 5 October. She did so in the 56th minute of the home game with Oranje-Rood (2-2).
  • Huizen is now 424 minutes without a goal in the Hoofdklasse. With only four goals in 12 games, it is the least scoring team in this league.
  • HGC lost only one of its last six matches in the Hoofdklasse (1-5 against Kampong on 10 November). For the rest: two wins and three draws in that series.
  • HGC won its last two away games in the Hoofdklasse (1-2 Rotterdam and 1-2 Oranje-Rood). Before that, the team suffered six defeats in a row on foreign soil.

  • Rotterdam could not win for seven games in a row against Pinoké: L L D L L L.

  • Pinoké won the last four matches with Rotterdam and reached 17 goals in that series.

  • Pinoké attacker Maria Steensma scored four goals in her last two home games with Rotterdam.

ORANGE-RED - HDM

  • Oranje-Rood has found it hard to win against HDM in recent years. Of the last eight matches with the Hague team, the Eindhoveners won only one (D3 L4). That was the first of two matches last season (3-2 in Eindhoven).

  • Oranje-Rood lost six of its last seven matches in the Hoofdklasse, winning only at Hurley in between (1-2 on 27 October).

  • In its five most recent home games, Oranje-Rood stepped off the pitch empty-handed each time. The last home win was the 4-2 at Hurley at the end of last season.

  • Five home defeats in a row is a new negative club record for Oranje-Rood. The previous record series of four defeats in a row in front of their own public also dates from this calendar year.

  • HDM failed to score in four of its last six away games and scored a total of only three goals in that series.

TILBURG - HURLEY

  • Tilburg won the first mutual against Hurley in 2022-2023, then suffered three defeats in a row against the Bosuilen and won the most recent encounter (1-2).

  • Hurley won both away duels with Tilburg in the Hoofdklasse: twice the scoreboard read 1-2.

  • Tilburg remained unbeaten in half of its matches this season (W5 D1).

  • Tilburg won three home games this season it lost three. The team won its last two home appearances and kept a clean sheet in those: 2-0 Huizen and 2-0 HDM.

  • Hurley won 5-0 at home to Huizen last Saturday, ending a disappointing run of four matches without a win (L L D L).

  • That 5-0 win over Huizen was Hurley's third biggest win in Hoofdklasse history. Only Victoria (1-7) and the Terriers (6-0) ever won more generously.
