Valentina Raposo leaves HGC after a season and a half

HGC women have said goodbye to Valentina Raposo after the end of the first half of the competition. The 22-year-old Argentine defender will return to her native country after a season and a half in Wassenaar as per agreement.

In Argentina, Raposo will prepare for next summer's World Cup in the Netherlands and Belgium. She already experienced two Olympics and a World Cup with the Argentine national team.

Raposo was brought to HGC in the summer of 2024 to strengthen the team's defence after the departure of routinarians Margot van Geffen and Eva Drummond. A penalty corner specialist, she reached three goals in a season and a half at HGC.
