Van der Waart to leave women's Rotterdam with immediate effect
Rotterdam women enter the play-offs with a new coach along the line. Jordy van der Waart has resigned with immediate effect from the number 11 of the Tulp Hoofdklasse.
It was previously announced that Van der Waart would leave after this season, but the two parties have decided to part ways already now.
His successor Jorge Nolte - currently still head coach of Leiden - will take over with immediate effect. Nolte was initially not due to start until the summer, but is now making an early entry. He temporarily combines the job with his current role at Leiden, which plays its last round of the Promotieklasse on Sunday.
For Rotterdam, the crucial play-outs are scheduled for Saturday 31 May and Sunday 1 June. With Nolte's arrival, the club hopes to bring new energy to the fight for preservation in the Hoofdklasse.
