Defender Floor de Haan swaps Amsterdam for Pinoké
Pinoké women have strengthened their squad for next season with Floor de Haan. The defender comes over from Amsterdam.
De Haan went through the Dutch youth selections U16 and U18, won gold with Jong Oranje at the 2021 World Cup in South Africa and played two international matches for the big Oranje: two Pro League matches in and against England in the summer of 2022. Last year, she captured the World Hockey 5s title with the Dutch national team in Oman and won the EHL with Amsterdam.
With her arrival, Pinoké brings in a stable and experienced defender who is used to playing hockey at the highest level. After Huizen defender Sam Luttmer, De Haan is the second external acquisition for Pinoké, which earlier this week also added youth players Marit van Buul and Anouk Slotema to the selection after the summer. Defender Imke Verstraeten will leave the club after this season: she will move to Amsterdam.
