Four newcomers to HGC women's squad

Two of the four acquisitions come from Germany: Lilly Stoffelsma (pictured) and youth international Julie Pieper - indeed the sister of Cecile Pieper, who already plays at HGC. Jip Blaas also joins, the former Dutch youth international comes over from Victoria.

HGC will get further reinforcement from Ellie Vinh. The 18-year-old midfielder, who is part of the Dutch U18 selection, comes over from HDM O18.

A number of players will also leave the club from Wassenaar. Amy Costello returns to England, while Julie Sytsema, Joosje Rijpstra, Daphne van der Vaart and Elke Boers quit top hockey.
