In the Tulp Hoofdklasse Women, the fifteenth round of play is on the menu, including a new edition of the Bosderby between Amsterdam and Hurley. We look ahead to all six matches.

AMSTERDAM - HURLEY
Saturday, 16:30

  • Amsterdam won its last four matches with Hurley and is unbeaten against its closest neighbour (W4 D1) since five matches.

  • Hurley last won against Amsterdam on 8 May 2022: 1-3 at the Wagener via goals from Hannah Martin, Romée Corver and Gitte Michels. Freeke Moes scored against on behalf of the home team.

  • Amsterdam lost six points in its last four home matches: 2-2 SCHC, 3-3 Kampong, 6-0 Huizen and 3-3 Tilburg.

  • Hurley won only two of its last 11 away games in the Hoofdklasse (D3 L6): at Huizen 0-1 and HGC 1-2.

  • Amsterdam attacker Fay van der Elst (pictured below) was good for seven goals in her first six matches this season, but has now failed to score for eight games in a row.

DEN BOSCH - HGC
Saturday, 6:30pm

  • Den Bosch has won the last 18 league games against HGC since a 1-1 draw in Wassenaar on 25 April 2004.

  • Den Bosch won the last 11 home matches against HGC with the impressive goal figures 55-5.

  • Den Bosch suffered its first points loss in this season last Sunday at Hurley (2-2), after thirteen consecutive wins from the league start.

  • HGC won four times this season and all those wins came against teams from the bottom of the league table: twice 5-0 against Huizen, 1-2 at Rotterdam and 1-2 at Oranje-Rood.

  • Striker Frédérique Matla is two goals away from her 250th official goal for Den Bosch. In club history, only Maartje Paumen (474) and Mijntje Donners (348) scored more goals for the Bosch squad than Matla.

PINOKÉ - ORANGE-ROOD
Sunday, 12:45pm

  • Pinoké has won its last five matches against Oranje-Rood and is unbeaten seven matches in a row against the Eindhoven natives (W D W W W W W).

  • Orange-Rood last won against Pinoké on 6 December 2019: 3-0 in Eindhoven through goals by Thirsa Kho, Laura Nunnink and Fiona Morgenstern.

  • Pinoké scored 20 times in the last five matches with Oranje-Rood.

  • Pinoké scores more slowly in home matches than on foreign soil: 12 goals in six matches compared to 21 goals from eight matches.

  • Oranje-Rood conceded 40 goals in 14 games. Only bottom-placed Huizen defends worse (43 goals against).

HUIZEN - SCHC
Sunday, 12:45pm

  • SCHC won each of the five previous encounters with Huizen, and each of them happened by four goals difference: twice 5-1, twice 4-0 and 8-2 in the outward match of the first half of the competition.

  • Huizen recorded its first win of the season last week at Rotterdam (0-1). Daphne Koolhaas exploited a penalty corner in the closing stages.

  • Huizen failed to score in five of its six home matches this season. With two goals, HUIZEN is the least scoring team on its own pitch.

  • SCHC won its last five matches in the Hoofdklasse and is unbeaten since six matches.

  • Five SCHC players have scored at least as many goals on their own this season as Huizen entire squad (five).

TILBURG - ROTTERDAM
Sunday, 12:45pm

  • A match between Tilburg and Rotterdam has never ended in a draw (two wins Tilburg, three wins Rotterdam).

  • Rotterdam won the last three matches between them after losing the first two against Tilburg.

  • Tilburg lost only one of its last six matches (W3 D2): 4-1 visiting Den Bosch on 10 November 2024.

  • Rotterdam lost nine of its last 10 games, winning only against Oranje-Rood (1-0) in between.

  • Rotterdam did not score in four of its last five matches. It only managed to do so on a visit to Pinoké: 4-1 defeat, goal by Yasmin Geerlings.

KAMPONG - HDM
Sunday, 16:00

  • Kampong won the last two matches with HDM, after having lost four in a row against the team from The Hague before that.

  • On its own pitch, Kampong has been waiting for six matches for a win against HDM (L L L D L L). Kampong's last home victory over HDM was on 4 March 2018, when it finished 3-1 at the Klapperboom.

  • Kampong won three of its last four matches (L1, 0-1 SCHC) and scored as many as 18 goals in those three wins.

  • HDM lost its last five matches in the Hoofdklasse since a 1-2 win on the Rotterdam pitch.

  • Sosha Benninga has already scored 15 goals for the Utrechters since her switch from Amsterdam to Kampong in the summer of 2023, but remarkably, they all fell in away games. So the striker is still waiting for her first goal for Kampong in a home game.
